Can’t. Stop. Watching.

Ingrown hairs have all the makings of a pimple (painful, hideous) with the added bonus of a nagging hair buried underneath your skin. (YAY.) Which is why, like a pimple, it's tough to ignore an ingrown hair that's prime for the picking.

Perhaps that's why there’s an Instagram account called Tweezist that's completely devoted to the removal of ingrown hairs. (Um, could she be the Dr. Pimple Popper of ingrown hairs? Just saying.)

Morbidly interested? Thought so. But before you dig into the videos, it's my job to remind you NOT to pop and pick ingrown hairs with your fingers. Doing that can lead to infections (yikes). Generally, you can get rid of that ingrown with regular exfoliation and acne-fighting products like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide instead.

If you really feel the urge to remove your ingrown hair, clean your skin and a sewing needle with rubbing alcohol, says Joshua Zeichner, M.D., a New York City-based board-certified dermatologist. Use the needle to gently lift up the free edge of the hair from your skin. Then, dab on an antibiotic ointment (like Neosporin) on the area and let it heal. Done and done.

But honestly, that still seems pretty intense. Instead, how about getting your fix through the following can't-look-away ingrown hair removal videos, okay? In no specific order, here they are, recorded through a microscope for your up-close viewing pleasure:

10. The one where the hair is so long it curls.

The Tweezist called this one oddly satisfying and, I've gotta say, something about seeing how long those hairs are really does make the removal feel like a relief.

9. The one where multiple hairs are unearthed.

One ding of a lancet (what the Tweezist calls her "digging tool") and one, two, three dark hairs come sliding out. The final flourish is the tweeze.

8. The one where you get a double feature.

Yeah, in this one you get a pimple popping and an ingrown hair removal, and really what more could you ask for?

7. The one with the ingrown pubic hair.

This hair is a small enough that the Tweezist has time to squash questions about ingrown pubes while she goes at it.

6. The one where there's blood.

A little bit of poking is all it takes for two hairs to pop out of this ingrown armpit bump. Once the hairs are tweezed a bit of blood follows and, well, see for yourself.

5. The one with the bird's eye view.

This one isn't so much about ingrown hairs as it is a chance to get a closeup of the plucking process—and it's kind of mesmerizing.

4. The one that comes with a warning.

The caption specifically says "GROSS," but, really, we've come this far, am I right?

3. The one where things get twisted.

The Tweezist has a bit fun with the letter "T" to introduce this one: "tweezers tweeze twisted hair," she wrote in the caption of a video featuring a wound-up hair making its exit.

2. The one where the lift of a scab unveils a hidden hair.

The simple pluck of a crusty piece of skin and voila! Out comes the hair.

1. The one where the hairs keep coming.

How many wonders can one cavern hold?
