- Be Gentle: Always brush from the bottom of the hair and work your way up when wearing any hair extensions.
- Brush Often: Better yet, carry a small tangle taming brush! You can lightly brush on the go, loosening small knots before they turn big is crucial for preventing breakage-causing tangles.
- Wear a Heat Protectant: This goes for anyone and everyone. If you care about your extensions or even your own hair surviving styling, you MUST use a heat protectant.
- Incorporate Silk Into Your Routine: Prolong your hair extension’s health (and your own hair!) with soft silk scrunchies that don’t snag on strands.
